Kodi
I know that many of the good people of WHO use Kodi for viewing live sport, movies, tv shows etc. So, what's the score with it please?
What would I need in order to install and use it please? Can it be loaded on an Openbox V8S? Which add ons would I need to watch football, movies, tv series etc?
Cheers in advance

Re: Kodi
There are tons of sites via kodi for sport/films/news etc
All differ in quality, it doesn't take long to find an excellent link for the latest films.
I'm going to watch Bridge of Spies later with Mrs Wurzel.
Have you got it as an early Christmas present?

Re: Kodi
Not sure but I think its along the lines of the quad-core inside the box and its only running a few apps as opposed to a PC running shit loads more...
I watched West Ham v WBA last week and the quality was excellent.
It keeps up with the stream more efficiently if that makes sense.

Re: Kodi
Thanks Wurzel. What's the benefit of having an Android box instead of using a computer to watch live games?
I can usually get good streams on my mac.
Will Kodi give me more options, better quality, etc?
This would also apply to free movies.

Re: Kodi
As has already been said.

I'm.currently running:

Amazon Firestick... Still currently best cheap solution.
Raspberry Pi 2...best mid range solution for about 60 quid
Nvidia Shield Android TV box which is great but expensive.

Also run on PC, Laptop, Tablet and Phone.

If doing properly good plan to get a VPN setup...I. Using one called PIA which means are less reliant on Genesis and can use the like of Primewire.

Kodi is awesome. 4 of my mates have all cancelled their sky subs so far.

Re: Kodi
Yes, but not the latest one that you have. Virtually the same I reckon.
Go onto the net via your box, download from them (droidsticks/entertainmentbox) enter that link, scroll down to install Kodi onto your android box, voila.

version I have is called kodi isengard (something like that)

When installed, kodi will be on your homescreen, click on it, the I usually go onto Sport and watch it via phoenix.

I bought the little keyboard for £9 as the remote done my head in.

Any probs let me know

My Kodi on the Fire Stick has the TVAddons err, add on, seems to have everything I need, the only thing I'm worried about is when I have to reload it as I've never used ADB before to load up a system

My Fire Stick is stable as fuck and great streams, the only gripe I've got is no volume control

Yeah that Wookie thing is a load of shit now

Having said that about Wookie, this is by far the best looking config/wizard I have seen on a Kodi build:

Re: Kodi
Done that, It will not download the latest wookie update.

There saying its my internet, it isnt

given up for now untill i can motiVate myself to GET FUCKED OFF AGAIN

Re: Kodi
Fuck wookie off,

install Phoenix, NJM, Moneysports, Genesis (although there are ???'s over the add on going forward) Navi x, UK turk

Ive paid add ons for a premium subscription sports site and an NBC sports account.

thats everythign covered in about 6 add ons. No need for the over-bloated add ons like wookie, especially as they have nothing worth keeping there now their premium subs have gone.
